The Melbourne Dental School is a participant in the Oral Health Cooperative Research Centre. Through this relationship, high-achieving third year undergraduate students will be considered for scholarship support to assist with their honours studies. The Oral Health CRC offers a number of Honours Scholarships of $5000 to be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Honours Scholarship Application Form (PDF 26kb).
Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) is offering scholarships to support students undertaking the Bachelor of Oral Health (Honours) program. The scholarships are available to high achieving students currently enrolled at the Melbourne Dental Schools' Bachelor of Oral Health Honours course.
The scholarship is valued at $20,000 per annum full-time equivalent and is payable following confirmation of enrolment in the Honours program and formal acceptance of the scholarship.
The successful applicant for the scholarship will have the highest Grade Point Average over the three years of the BOH course of all applicants for that year.
It would be expected that the successful student would undertake and complete a research project in alignment with DHSV strategic objectives and other undertakings as agreed by the University of Melbourne BOH Honours Convenor.
