Fees for international students
The course fee per year is calculated on the basis of one full-time year of study (1 EFTSL). If a course duration is less than one year, you will pay the indicative total course fee. Actual fees vary depending on the subjects you are taking. The University reviews fees annually. The indicative total course fee is based on typical subject enrolments, and includes an indexation of 5% per annum. More information about tuition fees.
If you are an international student, you may be eligible for a range of scholarships or grants.
There are some CSP places available. Full fee places and scholarships are also be available to Australian and International students. Domestic students are eligible for financial assistance through HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP and may also be eligible for Youth Allowance and Austudy. The University will offer a number of access and equity scholarships.

Expected equipment costs for 1st year DDS students will be in the order of AUD$5,000 for equipment that will be used throughout the course.
The university offers guaranteed entry pathways to our professional entry graduate courses. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at the University of Melbourne to be eligible.
Graduate Access Melbourne
Domestic applicants to the Doctor of Dental Surgery may be eligible for Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM). This special entry and access scheme provides access to applicants whose personal circumstances have had a sustained adverse effect on their academic achievement at undergraduate level or who are members of a specified group known to be under-represented in higher education.
